We like to understand the true purpose of a vehicle before undertaking more high-end performance car services so we can best advise on upgrades, different oils or even additional servicing parameters that may be of some additional benefit given the use/purpose of the vehicle. This is just one of the many ways that AP Automotive put the customer’s needs at the forefront of every service.

Our services are for those who appreciates using the best quality parts and keep their vehicles in great mechanical condition. We often find ourselves using manufacturer branded parts, unless uprated aftermarket parts/oils have been specifically requested or agreed upon prior to the service. High quality oil coupled with other high quality serviceable parts, such as air filters, oil filters and spark plugs not only keep your vehicle ticking over smoothly, but actually give for a much more responsive and energized driving experience. Amongst many other benefits often gained from using specific and very subtle upgrades.

Our in-depth understanding of both road and race cars allows for this combination of information to be fused together, helping to create you’re ultimate all-in-one driving machine. Even something as simple as a service has significant purpose at AP Automotive.

A more modern development within the motoring world has seen the addition of digital service books being integrated within vehicles in-car computers and entertainment systems. We also have the tools to update these systems given the completion of a service book entry job. This is not an additional service and comes inclusive with vehicles services & applicable. All of our servicing packages and procedures are inline with Manufacturer specifications and guidelines, therefore, upholding your Manufacturers Warranty.

BMW CBS Servicing
BMW Condition Based servicing (CBS) superseded the inspection service regimes in 2005, this is the regime in which is currently applicable to the modern BMW cars of today. By using our BMW Keyreader system, we can determine exactly which service is due and when. Whether it’s a simple brake fluid change or a major service. We still cater for older “Inspection 1” & “2” servicing regime.

VAG Haldex Servicing
This service keeps the rear haldex differential in tip top condition. With various Generations of the Haldex fitted across the VW Group cars, we cater for them all. We even carry out this service on Generation 4 differentials, which from 2009 the VW group say does not have a haldex filter fitted. The 2009 Gen 4 haldex does indeed have a filter fitted and we keep these in stock.

Gearbox Servicing
Although BMW do not provide a service schedule, it is recommended that the ZF gearboxes are serviced at around 60,000 miles to keep the transmission in good working order, similar to servicing the car’s engine.

We also carry out servicing on both SMG & DCT gearboxes fitted to M-Powered vehicles, as well as a range of DSG & S Tronic gearboxes from Volkswagen and Audi vehicles.
